Mr. Jimmy Dell Trussell's Obituary
Jimmy Dell Trussell was born June 13, 1954 in Meridian, MS to the late Odell and Estella Trussell. He was proceeded in death by his parents and one brother Wayne Trussell. Jimmy Dell attended the Meridian Public School District and was a graduate of Meridian High School. After High School he joined the United States Army. After spending years in the Army he pursued his career passion of becoming an over the road truck driver. He retired from the trucking industry after 42 years of dedicated service. He later married Mary Louise Mosely Trussell, and to this union three children were born. Jimmie Dell was a devoted member of the Greater Outreach Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Obadiah Clemons. Where he was an active member until his health failed him. He leaves to cherish his precious memory three sons: Donald Trussell, Jimmy Trussell, and Jeremy Trussell (Brittany); three daughters: Jameka Mosely Hudson (Troy), Pamela Mosely (LeQundrian), and Jaqualin McKenzie; an adopted grandson Jaylon Moss and an adopted God daughter Velma Mosely; seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren all of Meridian, MS. He also leaves to mourn five brothers: Tom Lee Grant (Debbie), Leon Trussell, Johnny Earl Trussell (Joyce), and Lathonzo Trussell (Andrea) all of Meridian MS, JC. Triplett, Louisille MS; five sisters: Brenda Trussell Hearn (Lonnie), Clemmie Trussell Green (Jerry), Regina Trussell Parker (Joe B), Nancy Trussell McDade (Dewey) all of Meridian MS, and Carol Moore of Cincinatti, Ohio; four brother in-laws: Johnny Mosely (Sue Ann), Henry Mosely Nashville TN, Ronny Naylor (Pricilla), Richard Naylor (Terinada); all of Meridian MS. four sister in-laws: Ethel Mosely, Dollia Bell, Ora Lee Hall (Johnny), Susie Bourdeaux (Johnny); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
