Mrs. Joann Pat Ellis' Obituary
Sis. JoAnn Patricia Ellis, was born on January 21, 1932
to the late Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Jackson in Simpson County.
JoAnn united with St. Patrick Catholic Church in 2008.
On Friday, August 2, 2019, at her residence at Meridian
Manor, in Meridian, MS there beyond the gate was a light that we could not see, but our heavenly Father claimed one of his own, Sis. JoAnn Ellis. Sis Ellis transcended from this dwelling to her eternal home.
JoAnn was currently employed at the St. Patrick Catholic
School as an after-hour caregiver, where she was greatly loved by the students and staff. She had many friends and never met a stranger. She enjoyed life.
JoAnn leaves to mourn her passing and forever cherish
her life her God-daughter Denniele Clark and God
Children, Safiyah Adams, and Emanuel Adams, all of
Brooklyn, New York, whom she adorned; a host of
cousins: Ron Lee (Erica), Howard Lee, Rita Lee, Yolanda
Finch, and Charlie Harry, all of Chicago, IL; Renee Harry,
of North Carolina, Carny Hayes (Jackie) of Jackson, MS,
Gregory Harris (Dale) of Louisiana and Barbara Burnett of
Meridian, MS.
Several very special friends: Louise Lucas of Harrisburg,
PA, Dianne Brown, Lillie Alford, Rosalind Turner, Frances
Johnson, Ruby Stokes, Barney Patton, and Inez Storr.
