Mr. Johnny Ray Clayton's Obituary
Johnny Ray Clayton was born to the late Henry Earl and Clarisee Clayton on November 1, 1956. Johnny Ray received Christ at an early age under the leadership of Bishop Leroy Loyd.
Johnny had a unique personality but understood what he needed to do to be saved. During the last few weeks of his life as family members spoke to him about his relationship with Christ, Johnny told his family that he was alright, he's in God's hands now.
Johnny graduated from Northeast High School in 1974. H continued his education at Meridian Community College. He loved playing pool, and always thought he was a "Pool Shark".
He also loved football and basketball.
Johnny departed this earthly life on Saturday, 15 April 2023.
He was preceded in death by his father Henry Earl Clayton, and two brothers, Algene Clayton and Edward Clayton.
Johnny leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Clarisee Clayton; eleven siblings: Robert (Sharon) Clayton, Mary Wheeler, Almay (Collie) Brooks, Milton Clayton, Joe Ann Clayton, Dennis Clayton, Allen (Ashley) Clayton, Diane (Ricky) Hinton, Rita Clayton, Tracy (Zachary) Scott, and John (Renae) Clayton. Не also leaves a host of niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.
