Johnny D. Ray was born on November 4, 1940 to the late Henry Ray and the late Hattie Bell Robertson Gordon in Whynot, MS. Johnny Ray departed this life early Tuesday morning at the Queen City Nursing Home in Meridian, MS. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carrie Webster. He leaves to cherish his memories: four (4) sons, Johnny Jr., Shaun, Marlon and Kyle, one (1) brother, Hollis Ray (Ethel Lee) Ray of Toomsuba, MS, thirteen (13) grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
