Mr. Johnny O. Sims' Obituary
Johnny (Ossie) Sims was born January 23, 1956 to Mr. Charlie Moultrie and Mrs. Pearl Sims in Meridian, MS. He attended Meridian Public Schools and served briefly in the U.S. Army. Johnny enjoyed life itself, being around family and friends until his health failed. Johnny was call home June 4, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother Mrs. Pearl Sims and his father Mr. Charlie Moultrie; his brothers Andrew Sims and Eddie Lee Sims. His sister Dorothy Atterberry. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, a loving and devoted companion, Nora Lee Haynes; a daughter, Mrs. Debra (Lee) Scott; a son, Mr. Jason Burrage; a stepson, Ronnie (Shenetha) Haynes; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Brandy (Oliver) Mosley; all of Meridian MS. Three brothers; Mr. Robert Sims (Eastvale, California), Mr. Bennie (Lenora) Oliver Sr. of Meridian MS., Mr. Calvin Taneika Moultrie of Killen, TX. Four sisters; Mrs. Mattie Williams, Mrs. Phyllis (Wayne) Spears, and Ms. Linda Washington all of Meridian MS, Mrs. Charlene (Jay) Daniels of Austin TX. One uncle; Frank Moultry of Waxahachie, TX. Three aunts; Hattie Mae Beake of Birmingham, AL, Mrs. Vocille McCoy of Dallas, TX, and Mrs. Lillie (Don) Owens of Fort Worth, TX. A host of grandchildren, Great grandchildren, Nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
