Mr. Joseph Gordon's Obituary
Joseph Gordon Sr. was born a twin on July 22, 1969 into the union of the late Robert Lee and Chlorese Gordon of Meridian, Mississippi. As a young man, Joseph attended Job Corp where he received his automotive degree. Soon after he proudly begin working at Firestone for 25 years. Joseph never met a person that he didn't love and embrace. He was very outspoken. Everyone he encountered, he helped and encouraged. He loved and cherished his wife, his children, and granddaughter till his final day, and he left them knowing they were loved. Joseph went home to be with his heavenly father on, Wednesday, February 12, 2020. He closed his eyes for his final rest surrounded by family. He is preceded in death by: his parents, Robert Lee and Chlorese Gordon; a brother, Leonard Gordon; one brother-in-law, Eddie Scott; and two uncle, James L. Green and Will A. Sanders. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Tina A. Gordon; his children from the union of Sabrina L. Gordon one daughter, Zoey Gordon; three sons, Darius Gordon, Joseph Gordon Jr., and Zimri Gordon; one granddaughter: Aaliyah Gordon; three brothers: Robert L. Green (Murlene), Michael Gordon (Shelly), and Anthony Gordon (Tiffany); six sisters: Magdalene Grant (Leo), JoAnn Bryant (Michael), Shirley Scott, Elizabeth Thompson, Cynthia Ruffin (Michael), and his twin sister, Josephine Gordon; 34 nieces and nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
