Mr. Joseph Radcliff's Obituary
On the evening of March 9, 2019, Joseph "Joe" William Radcliff transitioned peacefully to his heavenly home. Joseph William Radcliff was born June 2, 1941 to the union of the Late Ulysses Radcliff and Margaret Gordon Radcliff, of Toomsuba, MS. He was the fifth born of eleven siblings. Joseph confessed Christ at an early age and joined Good Hope C. M E. in Russell, MS. Joseph received is diploma from Middleton High School in 1960. After high school, Joseph immediately moved to Minnesota to pursue a career with Southern Pacific Railroad His career with the railroad moved him benveen Minnesota and Seattle, Washington over many years. During this time, Joseph united in marriage to Gracie Whitehead of Toomsuba, Mississippi. After a long career with the railroad, Joseph made a career change and began working for Safeway Foods. Joseph eventually retired and after visiting and falling in love with Atlanta; he relocated and settled in Lithonia, Georgia. He leaves to cherish his memories: Gracie, jive children, Lisa Radcliff, Denise Radcliff, Jamel/ah Radcliff, Kevin Radcliff and Jamie Radcliff and six grandchildren; jive siblings, Issac (Ruthie) Radcliff of Columbus, MO, Dorothy (Rev. Peter) Boggan of Toomsuba, MS, Rosie M Radcliff of Meridian, MS, Elijah (Sandra) Radcliff of Detroit, Ml and Edward (Judy) Radcliff of Meridian, MS; two special cousins, Bertha Yarrell & Annie P. Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
