Mr. Joseph K. Robinson Sr.'s Obituary
Joseph K. Robinson, Sr. was born on June 13, 1958 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Joe Alton Hearn and Jean Robinson and the foster son of the late Felton & Frankie Posey. He departed this life on January 4, 2020, surrounded by his family.
Joe, as he was affectionately known, attended Middleton Elementary and Northeast High School where he received his High School Diploma in 1977. He became a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Collinsville, MS.
Joe was a hard working man and held various jobs which includes Hardins Bakery, Structural Steele and East Mississippi State Hospital until his health failed. He was one who loved to enjoy life and spending time with his family. Especially with his son and grandson.
Joe was preceded in death by his foster parents, Mr. Felton & Frankie Posey and two (2) siblings.
Joe leaves to cherish his memories: his son, Joseph K. Robinson, Jr. of Arlington, TX; one (1) grandson, Joseph K. Robinson, III of Arlington, TX; two (2) brothers and three (3) sisters; a special aunt, Peggy Reed of Collinsville, MS and a host of relatives and friends.
