Mrs. Julia Nelson Felder's Obituary
Julia Nelson Felder was born September 6, 1935 in Meridian, Mississippi to the late John Nelson Sr., and Ella Anderson Nelson. $ua was educated in the Meridian Public School System. She worked a short period of time for Harry Meyer clothiers. After her work years ended, she retreated to her home where she cared for her children and grandchildren. She loved cooking for her family. Julia was a free hearted person. She loved helping people and would never say to no to anyone. On Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at the age of 84, Julia made the transition from her earthly life to her Heavenly home. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ella Anderson Nelson; her father, John Nelson, Sr.; three brothers: William Anderson Nelson, Larry Burnette Nelson and John Nelson, Jr.; five sisters: Dorothy Hosley, Mattie Nelson Payton, Emma Joe Nelson Whitlock, Velma Deloris Nelson Clark and Dorothy LaJean Nelson Trotter. Julia leaves a legacy of love to her devoted husband of 5 6 years, James Edward Felder; son: James Edward Felder, Jr.; two daughters: Debra Evans Clay and Vickie Ann Felder of Chester, VA; six grandchildren: Joe Clay (Rhonda); Vicki Ann Clay, Nicole Clay, Jasmine Felder Thedford (Jermarcus), Darrius Felder and Jo'Queshia Johnson; nine great-grandchildren: Joe Clay III, JoeVonte Clay, Kintarius Clay, DeMarkus Clay, Sommer Clay, Chase Clay, Jerzirya Thedford, Justin Clay and Pay-ton Clay; and a dear friend, Ethel Taylor. She was deeply loved by family and friends and will be truly missed.
