Mr. Julius Caesar Howze's Obituary
Mr. Julius Caesar "Pop" Howze was born June 29, 1935 in Stonewall, · Mississippi to the late Timothy and Lorene Howze. He was a faithful member of Little Zion United Methodist Church; After graduating from Shirley Owens High School, he went on to proudly serve his country by joining the United States Air Force. Julius served in the Korean War before being honorably discharged due to an injury. He worked as a school bus driver for the Friends of Children of Mississippi Head Start Center for over 25 years who was very wellliked, caring and dedicated. Julius leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife; Mrs. Martha Rene Howze, two daughters: Diana Giese of Racine, WI, and Lamonda Howze of Tampa, FL, three stepchildren: Bobby D. Strickland of Greenbay, WI, Christopher Strickland of Madison, WI and Joyce R. Strickland of Woodbridge, VA; five grandchildren; Damien Winston, Tyisha Dawkins, Andrew Giese, Keyanna Mayfield and Amber Giese, and a host of great grandchildren, relatives and friends. Julius is preceded in death by his parents, Timothy Howze (Sadie) and Lorene Moss (Anderson) and grandson, Dana Shalmar Giese.
