Mr. Junior C. Bell's Obituary
Junior C. Bell, known to many as "June or Little Man", was born on May 21, 1945 in Meridian, MS to the late Sam and Florence Bell.
June was a devoted and loving son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was a little man in statue with a big heart.
June received much enjoyment out of visiting the elders in the neighborhood he was raised in. He would do anything he could to help others.
June received his heavenly wings during the early morning hours of May 20, 2025, one day shy of his 80th birthday, while surrounded by his devoted step-granddaughter, Tourean and her family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Annie (Ann) Elizabeth, Beulah May and Cammie Mae; four brothers, Charlie Lee, James, Sam Jr. and Danny (Boone); one grand-son, Anthony Newell and one niece, Carolyn Lewis.
He leaves to forever cherish his loving memory four daughters, Shelia Williams and Vicky Coleman (Marvin) both of Mobile, AL, Jessica "Tasha" (Issac) Turner and Angela "Tiny" Harris both of Meridian, MS; one devoted son, Timothy (Sara) Traylor; one stepson, Steve Pratt; two devoted sisters, Martha Bell and Lula Bell Donald (Karl) both of Meridian, MS; sixteen (16) grandchildren, thirty-two (32) great-grandchildren, four (4) great-great grandchildren; his faithful step-granddaughter who referred to him as granddad, Tourean Newell and her mother, Sandra Brown, who welcomed him into their home and loved him very much; devoted nieces, Mary Louise Bell, Marie Rivera, Aletha "Lisa" Bell,
Yolanda Perez, Kimberly Cole, Diane McDonald, Hattie Hodges, Annie Louise Chester and Teresa Carter (Tom); nephews, Gabriel Bell, Johnny "Montreal" Bell (Sanovia), Derrick Bell (Pamela), Harvey Jones (Bernice), Reginald Jones, Arthur Hodges (Kathy) and Dennis Hodges all of whom he loved very much. He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
