Ms. Jynette Larkin's Obituary
Sister Jynette Larkin was born on September 15, 1947 to the late Willie C. Hall and Ollie lee Coleman-Hall in Coffee County, Alabama. Sister Larkin felt the love of Jesus at an early age, and began to sing on the Gospel Circuit with her family's group, the Hall Sisters. However, it wasn't until she heard the word through the late, great, Bishop J.J. Sears that she was born again into The Pentecostal Church of God. She spent many years under the leadership of the honorable Bishop M. Evins, Sr. and Bishop James Stoudemire, working and traveling for the up building of God's Kingdom with her late husband, Elder Alexander Larkin, Sr. for 39 years. She worked as a praying woman under the leadership of Bishop Andrew Stephens and Bishop Keith Tisdale until her passing on November 15, 2016. Not only was Sister Larkin a faithful worker, she was also a loving mother to her only daughter, Olivia Larkin Pruitt and step-children, Alex Jr. Alvin, Tabitha, and Chantal. Her joy was being a grandmother to her "grandwomen" Jyniah, KeMyah, and Jada. She was a great sister and devoted friend. Most knew her affectionate as, "Nett." Sister Larkin was the youngest of nine siblings: John Henry(deceased), Benjamen J. Hall (deceased) (Mary) of Sanford, FL., Willie Mae Wilson (deceased), Hawatha (deceased), MS, Johnnie Bell(deceased), Lucille Baldwin(deceased). She leave to cherish her memory, her daughter, Olivia Pruitt (Deacon James Pruitt), Meridian, MS, step-children, Alvin (Atlanta), Alex Jr.(Triana), Meridian, two brothers Ira-Paul (Veronica), Bushell, Fl., Rev. David Head, Enterprise, Al., Sis. Essie Lee Hall, Meridian, Ms. Her precious "grandwomen," Jyniah, Kemyah, and Jada Pruitt; one niece, Jemekia, the entire Larkin family, PCG family and longtime friends, Elder and Sis. Grant, and a host of friends.
