Mr. K.C. Willie Mosley's Obituary
Bro K.C. “Willie” Mosley was born in Kemper County, Mississippi on August 20, I 925, to the late Kelly and Harriet Mosley. He was the fourth child of eight. Three brothers and a sister preceded him in death, James, King, Johri and Theoria. He accepted Christ and was baptized under the leadership of his nephew Rev Edward L. Cryer at First Baptist Church, Carthage, MS in 1996. He later united with the Greater Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church of Meridian, MS where the Rev. Alvin Moore Jr. is currently pastoring. Bro. Mosley was an active ivember of the Greater Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church and attended until his health declined. Bro. Mosley attended Henley and Pleasant Grove School in Kemper County. He also served in the United States Navy during World War II. After being discharged from the Navy, Bro Mosley moved to Bessemer, Al and worked for Pullman Standard. Bro. Mosley later moved to San Francisco, Ca and was employed by city of San Francisco, Public Works (Water Division) where he retired. Bro Mosley was married to the late Laska (Martin) Mosley and three children was born to that union two of whom preceded him in death, Kenneth (son) and Melda ( daughter). Bro. Mosley, 90, of Meridian, MS departed this life on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters Maya Lu Lai, of San Jose, CA, and Sabrina Mosley of Pittsburgh, CA, one sister Jessie Cryer of Meridian, MS. Two brothers: Ezekiel Mosley of Bessemer, AL; and ModeII (Nancy) Mosley of Hondo, TX, five grandchildren and a host of meces, nephews and other relatives. One special friend, Artilla Wysinger of San Francisco, CA and her sons. Bro Mosley was loved by all.
