Ms. Katrina Conner's Obituary
On Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital, Katrina LaTanya Conner was called by God to her heavenly home. Katrina was born to Robert and Dessie Mae Fikes Conner of Clarke County on July 1, 1975 at Matty Hersee Hospital in Meridian, MS. She is preceded in death by her father Robert Earl Conner, Sr., and grandparents Miller and Wilma Fikes Jefferson, and George and Annie Mae Conner. (Ander close supervision of her older siblings, Katrina attended Quitman School District. In support of her health needs and best interest, she later resided at Ellisville State School in Ellisville, MS. Affectionately known to the staff and clients as "Yaya", Katrina was full oflaughter and loved to dance. She brought a sense of happiness and brightness to the room with her smile and demeanor. Beautiful memories are left to be cherished by: her mother, Dessie Mae Fikes Conner; brother Robert Earl Conner, Jr (Gail) of Meridian, MS; sisters Ingrid Natasha Smith (Marcus) of Pachuta, MS, Shalita Germaine Conner-Harris (Casanoble Jr) of Hattiesburg, MS, and Iris Lynn Conner of Pachuta, MS; nieces Inglish Smith (Tavis) of Hattiesburg, MS, India Smith of Hattiesburg, MS, and Kelli Conner of Las Vegas, NV; nephews Ryan Conner of Las Vegas, NV, Israel Conner of Pachuta, MS, and Malakye Smith of Hattiesburg, MS.
