Kaydence Joy Laphand was born January 12, 2013 to Ms. Clayosha Avery and Mr. Todrian Laphand. She attended New Prospect Baptist Church where Rev. Jerome Roberts is the Pastor. She attended Oakland Heights Elementary, shining star, her smile alone would light up any room, especially when her lips were popping. Everyone that knew Kaydence knew she loved her lipgloss. She was a very fashionable kid, just like her mother. Kaydence Joy Laphand was called home, Thursday, September 9, 2021. She was preceded in death by her Grandfather, Mr. Alfred Hicks (Poochie); Great Great Grandparents, Mr. Odie Lee McCaleb and Mrs. Lillian McCaleb; Great Grandfathers, Mr. James Avery, Mr. Charles Speight, Mr. Darrell Anderson; Great Great Grandmother, Mrs. Mildred Jean Dockery-Tims and Mrs. Thelma Laphand; Great Great Grandfather, Mr. Arthur Cliffton Tims, Jr.; Special Cousin, Mrs. Cachita Toysha Winfield; an uncle, Mr. David McCaleb; three cousins, Mrs. Marveanna Tillman, Mrs. Annie Hicks, Mrs. Gracie Heidleberg; an aunt, Mrs. Petra Turner. Kaydence Joy Laphand leaves to cherish loving memories, her parents, Ms. Clayosha Avery and Mr. Todrian Laphcind, Sr.; two brothers, Todrian Laphand, Jr. and Tijae Laphand; one sister, Emarie Laphand; a special cousin/sister, Mrs. Teshayla McFarland; a Godmother, Mrs. Joni Collins; a special Godfather, Mr. Demetrius ("Dede") Bums; Grandparents, Mr. Clay Avery and Mrs. Michelle Avery, Mr. Donson Maule and Mrs. Marcia LaphandMaule; Great Grandmothers, Mrs. Lillie Anderson, Mrs. Mary Speight, and Mrs. Caroll (Ray) Laphand Jones; Great Great Grandmother, Mrs. Lucille Payne; and a host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and friends that loved her dearly.
