Ms. Kayla A. Williams

On October 8, 1999, a Princess was born by the name of Kayla Anniece Williams to her proud parents, Bishop Greg Williams, Sr. and Yolanda Williams. Oh, what a bundle of joy that Kayla brought to the family and to others. As a baby, Kayla did not like to take baths. She would cry and sound like a little lamb and boy did her feet stink. Kayla was always on the go and started at an early age by jumping out of baby swing every day. She was the best baby and slept all night. Kayla started dancing at the age of 3 at Suzie McGraw School of Dance learning ballet, hip hop, tap, and gymnastics. Kayla loved to dance and flip off the bed and couch. Kayla loved her birthday so much that she would start planning her party for the next year on the very next day. She made sure she went to everyone's birthday party because she said" I love the food." If you knew Kayla, you knew she loved to eat and never gained weight. Kayla loved food so much that she would post pies of food and send text messages Jo see if you wanted to go eat whatever she found on Instagram. Kayla was soft spoken and had a very big heart. Kayla was educated at West Hills Elementary, St. Patrick Catholic School, Northeast Middle School and Meridian High School. Starting at a young age, Kayla did not like to go to school. Kayla 's example of a perfect day was sitting at home up under her daddy instead of going to school. There were a lot of people that were instrumental in Kayla's life. Kayla loved hard and was very loyal to those who loved her back. If she felt you broke it, that quietness turned into a quiet storm. If you really knew Kayla you would know her favorite color was red. She loved music, makeup, dressing up, all things about her phone, and Eli Manning. Kayla was a New York Giants fan because she loved Eli Manning, while everyone else in the house was a Dallas Cowboy fan. We could not change her mind. Kayla was blessed with two beautiful and awesome children: Landon and Kahlani Williams. Kayla loved her children unconditionally. We often teased her about how quiet she was, yet her children made up for it with such big personalities. Kayla was the princess of the Williams Family and more. She touched so many people lives with her pretty smile and soft spoken words. Kayla was baptized by her father, Bishop Greg Williams, Sr. at New Vision House of God Faith Center. As a daughter and church member, Kayla was an active participant of the church Praise and Dance Team, as well Mime Ministry. Kayla Annice Williams transitioned on August 27, 2021 at Rush Hospital. Kayla leaves to honor her legacy and cherish her memories: the Loves of her life: Landon Kristopher Williams and Kalani Adore Williams. In addition to her children, Kayla was loved by many but not limited to her, Father Bishop Greg (LaSonjia) Williams, Sr.; her mother Yolanda Williams,· two brothers Greg Williams, Jr. and Ayden Williams; two sisters Latasha Jones and Chiquita Mosley; grandparents: Annie Wells, Dorothy Williams, Frank (Elaine) Lloyd, Sr. and Bettie Hosley, her granny Jean; a host of loving aunts and uncles: Latonya Wells, Tijuana Henderson, LaToya (Kerry) Lowe, Shannon (Ashley) Lloyd, Teri (Leamond) Shaffer, Shelia (Greg) Jackson, Leisa (Michael) Tyson, Hope Powell, Lynette Williams, Frankie Lloyd, Jr. and Darren (Sharon) Brookshire. Kayla had a host of other TT's, cousins, relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
