Mr. Kenneth Ray McGowan's Obituary
Kenneth Ray McGowan was born December 30, 1955 in Enterprise, MS to the late Joseph and Edna, Sr. Kenneth departed this life Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at his home in Enterprise, MS. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Dewayne McGowan. Kenneth was educated in the Enterprise Public School System. He joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Enterprise, MS at an early age. Kenneth rededicated his life to Christ several years before his health failed. He leaves to cherish his memories: a special friend, Betty Ray; five sisters, Barbara Nunnery, Mary Alford and Cynthia McGowan, all of Enterprise, MS, Sadie Burks (John) of Grand Rapids, MI and Betty McGowan of Hickory, MS; two brothers, Joseph McGowan, Jr. of Enterprise, MS and Ralph McGowan of Raymond, MS; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. Kenneth was a father to many: Christopher D. McGowan, Mary Ann Jones, Cheryl Jones (deceased), Michael Jones, Angie Jones, Antoine and Taiwan Jones, Billy Hood, Russell Hood, Glen Hood, Demond Hood and Germaine Hood, Miko Roberts and Shalene Ray .
