Mr. Keviun Jordan's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Keviun Jordan, a cherished son, brother, and aspiring professional football player. Born to LaKendra Jordan and Kiara Stinner, Kevin's journey, though brief, left an indelible impact on all who knew him. At an early age Kevin joined Thirty-First Missionary Baptist Church. Kevin was also a frequent member of the Lauderdale County Boys and Girls Club of Meridian, MS. Kev-un's early education years began in the Meridian Public School District and Workman Junior High in Arlington, TX. Upon his return to Meridi-an, MS, Kevin attended Northwest Jr. High School where he excelled as a phenomenal football player.
Kevin's dreams of becoming a professional football player were evident from his early years. His dedication to the sport, coupled with his natural talent, painted a picture of a promising future cut short too soon. His passion for football was a beacon that inspired those around him.
In addition to his parents, Kevin will be deeply missed by his grandpar-ents, Syble Jordan, Cedric (Vicky) Smith, Casandra Stinner, and James Baylor, and his three brothers, Kemarion, Korrdarius, and Korbin. A special bond was shared with his stepfather, Reoz Merritt, whose love and support were instrumental in Kevin's life:
He was also blessed with amazing Godparents, Charles (Yolanda) Coleman, TeMarcus Smith, Nicole McClendon, and Candace Walker, who provided guidance and love throughout his journey. Their impact on Keviun's life will forever be cherished.
In his thirteenth year, Kevin was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Emmett (Johnnie) Jordan and Eddie (Dorothy) Stinner.
While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the joy, laughter, and love he brought into our lives. May Keviun "Catfish" Jordan rest in eternal peace, his dreams forever alive in our hearts, and his spirit soaring on the football field of eternity.
