Mrs. Lancie Mae Nelson was born in Lauderdale, MS on March 3, 1935 to the late Fletcher & Roseanna Straight. She departed her life on MArch 13, 2014 at Rush Hospital in Meridian, MS.
Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by her father Fletcher Straight, (mother) Roseanna Straight also by her four sons, Walter Cooper JJ, Henry Lee Cooper, Robert Earl Cooper, Edward Charles Straight, also a grandson Lamarcus Cooper.
Mrs. Nelson was a long tome member of Elizabeth Baptist Church. Mrs. Nelson leaves behind to cherish her memories a daughter, Lucinda Ann cooper, a brother, Johnnie Straight (Sandra Straight); two grandsons, James cooper and Sedrick Hall; four granddaughters, Amanda Moore, Sheree Dover, Eucharist Burrage, Jasmine Hall; Two nieces, Rosetta Bennett & Mary King, and a host of great grand and great great grandkids, nieces and nephews.
