Rev. Leo "Lee" Gordon's Obituary
Reverend Leo Gordon, affectionately known as "My Daddy" by his children, was born on 4 September 1931 to the late James Gordon and Queen Victoria Rogers Gordon. Answering a call of duty to his country Rev Leo Gordon joined the United States Army and served faithfully with honor and distinction.
Rev. Gordon accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church from childhood serving as a deacon before answering the Lords call to Ministry.
Later in life, he moved his membership to First Union Missionary Baptist Church in Meridian, MS serving as Sunday School teacher and First Associate Minister until his transition.
After receiving his calling, he served as pastor of Farview Missionary Baptist Church of Sandflat, MS, Little Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Toomsuba, MS, Mt Horem Baptist Church of Meridian, MS, Paradise Baptist Church of Magnolia, AL and First Baptist Church of Gainesville, AL.
Rev. Gordon's loving parents preceded him in death. Also preceding him in passing were his siblings (Willie Bell Gordon, Louise Mitchell, James Robert, Sylvester and Frank), and 1 Granddaughter (Penelope).

Marilynn Marie Bland of Baltimore, MD, John Mark Gordon (Pamela) of Tampa, FL, Joseph Gordon (Brenda) of Carson, CA, Aaron Gordon (Celese) of Las Vegas, NV, Carl Dewayne Gordon of Fairfax, VA, Andrea Lynn Loreg (Alan) of Crofton, MD; Jacques Lenoel Gordon (Sabrina) of Atlanta, GA.
He also leaves to mourn, 21 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, distant relatives and friends who will truly miss him.
