Mrs. Leola Wilson Davis' Obituary
Leola Wilson Davis was born in the Nellieburg Community on August 11, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Theodore Wilson, Sr. and the late Vera Williams. She united with Pilgrim Methodist Church at a very young age where she remained until she married Mack Davis, Sr. on May 19, 1939. After her marriage, she united with West Mt. Moriah Baptist Church where served as a faithful member of the Mother Board. She was preceded in death by her biological parents, five half sisters, two half brothers, her foster parents, Ben and Laverne Davis Killpatrick, and five foster sisters. She is survived by her husband: Mack Davis, Sr.; one son, Mack Davis, Jr.; two daughters: Sallie Davis and Dorothy (Joe) Sears; two grandsons: Rev. Timothy Sears (Taymecca) Searsand Bradley (Gwen) Sears; two great grandsons; two great granddaughters; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
