Mrs. Leola Naze Porter's Obituary
Leola Naze was born to the Late Sherman and Erma D. Naze on February 6, 1929 in Meridian, Mississippi. She later united with the Late Alex Porter Jr. At an early age she found Christ and joined the pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Meridian, MS. She departed this earthly life on Friday August 28, 2015. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: (7) children; five daughters, Ann Jones of Cleveland, OH, Tina (Ronnie) Reed of Fort Worth, TX, Theresa (Clarence) Franklin of Montgomery, AL, Dorothy Wells and Shirley Porter both of Meridian, MS, (2) sons Adolph (Felishia) Porter and Fred Porter both of Meridian, MS; a special and loving friend Mrs. Marie Cook. A host-of loving nieces, nephews cousins, grandchildren & great grandchildren, She is preceded in death by one daughter, Yvonne Goodwin Harris two sons Alfred , Gene Porter and Gerald Wayne Peterson, parents; Sherman and Erma D. Naze; a sister Annie Bell Young, two brothers Herman and Otha Naze.
