Mr. Leotha Scott Jr.'s Obituary
Elder Leotha Scott Jr., was born June 29, 194 7 to the late Leotha Sr. and Willie Lee Scott in Meridian, Mississippi. He committed his life to Christ at an early age and became a member of Thirty-First Missionary Baptist Church. He was called to the ministry at the age of twelve. Later in life, he joined Christ Temple Church in Eutaw, Alabama, where he served as Elder. Elder Scott graduated from Harris Jr. College then on to continue his education at Mississippi Valley State University. Elder Scott was a successful entrepreneur. Elder Scott was united in holy matrimony to Carolyn Lois Edmonds Scott and to this union, the birth of Deanna Renee Scott Augustine. He then married the late Polly Ann Moffite Scott and to this union the birth of Leatha "Bo" Scott III. Later he married Annie Marie Neal Scott and to this union, the birth of Chelsea Scott, Marisa Scott, Cornelius Scott, and Matthew Scott. Elder Scott leaves to cherish his memories: Daughters, Deanna Renee Augustine, Chelsea Scott, Marisa Scott; Sons: Leotha "Bo" Scott III, Cornelius Scott, Matthew Scott; Brothers: Charles Scott (Glenda), Iran Scott, Will Scott, Mark Scott; Sister: Lucindy Wilson; A special friend, Johnnie Mae; A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and many friends and loved ones.
