Mrs. Lessie Mae Spinks Glass' Obituary
Lessie Mae Spinks Glass was born February 15, 1953 to Annie Viola Cole and Melvin Spinks, Sr. in Meridian, MS. On August 17, 1969, she united in holy matrimony to T.C. Glass. To this union, three children were born. Lessie and T.C. remained married until his death on May 11, 1994. Lessie Mae departed this life on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Spinks and a brother, John Pete Spinks. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: a daughter, Viola Faye Glass; two sons, Tracey (':fasha) Glass and Anthony Tyrone (Lisa) Glass, all of Russell, MS; 6 sisters, Bernice Spinks of Indianapolis, IN, Annie Brooks, Lisa Delk, Nellie (Wayne) Delk, Debra (Quentin) Delk, all of Meridian, MS, and Natas~a Delk of Marion, MS; 2 brothers, Lonnie Spinks, Sr. of Indianapolis, IN and Adam Ricky (Wanda) Delk of Meridian, MS; a granddaughter, Wilisha Glass; 2 great grandchildren, Alayla Powe and Dylan Gaddis; a sister-in-law, Perlie Sparrow; 2 brothers-in-law, James Glass and Robert Glass, 2 very close friends, . Teresa Hosley and Hollie Overstreet, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
