Mrs. Lessie M. Walker's Obituary
Lessie Mae Walker was called home in the early hours of Monday, November 13, 2023.
Ms. Lessie Mae Walker was born the seventh of nine children to the late Judge and Luberta Walker on October 10, 1933. She went on to have five children of her own, two sons and three daughters, whom two proceeded her in death.
Ms. Lessie Walker accepted Christ at an early age and joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Marion, MS, where she served on the usher board. Ms. Lessie Walker was an active and faithful member until her health failed.
Ms. Lessie Mae Walker retired from domestic work. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, and her weekly beauty shopping appointments.
Ms. Lessie Walker was proceeded in death by her parents Judge and Luberta Walker, daughters Betty Ann Walker (infant), Pamela Walker (Burrage), twin sister Elsie Walker, sibilings Margaret Collier, Lawrence Walker, Leeanna Warren, Mary Jane Baylor, MaeBell McDonald, Willie Mae Collier, and Florence Gray
