Mr. Lester Lee Dunnigan's Obituary
Lester Dunnigan was born on September 10, 1942 in Lauderdale County, Toomsuba, Mississippi to the late Whitehead Dunnigan I and Ruby Claire Toole Dunnigan. Lester accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Little Hope Baptist Church. Later in life, he moved to Chesnee, South Carolina. In 2008, he retired as a nursery labor and returned to Mississippi to live with his sister, Ruby Nell so that he could enjoy retirement. Lester was a big man who enjoyed life to its fullest. He loved talking and telling stories, laughing, eating food, listening to music, watching television with his favorites being westerns and cartoons. After his health begin to fail, Lester became a long term resident of Diversicare of Meridian. On Tuesday, June 16, 2020, Lester was called home. He leaves to cherish his memories, three sisters: Ruby Nell Lard (Louis) ofToomsuba, MS, Virginia Gibbs and Laurel Prather both of Cleveland, OH and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
