Rev. Levelle Anderson's Obituary
On September 25, 1945, Levelle Anderson was born to the parents of the late James Willis Anderson and Lula Moore Anderson. Levelle united with New Era Baptist church at an early age, under the pastorage of his father. Levene graduated from T. J. Harris High School in 1963. He was inducted into the Army In October 1966, and served in Vietnam War until October 1968. While in Vietnam, he fathered a daughter, Suzanne Erwin. After returning to Mississippi, he met and married Clemistine Griffin. To their union, they had two daughters, Sharon {Michael Ham) and Kesha (William Myles). He had three grandchildren: Cheniqia Erwin, Kyrah and William Myles II. He had one great grandson, Noah James. On January 26, 2002, Levelle and Dorothy Jones were married. He leaves to cherish his memory one sister, Mrs. Bobbie Jean Lewis (Charlie), and an Aunt, Lenora Payne, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded In death by his brothers: James Willis, Jr., George, Melvin, and Roosevelt; and his sisters: Gertrude Rush, Ester D Motton, Virgie Strombough, and Marie Mercer, and parents. Levene received his B. A. Degree in Theology from McKinley Theological Seminary, In Forrest, MS. He pastored Mr. Pisgah Baptist Church (Jachin, AL), John the Baptist Church (Lisman, AL), and Morning Star Baptist Church (Bellamy, AL).
