My Condolences to The Taylor Family.
LaVern Taylor was actually my best friend in the 3rd Grade but of course we remained friends all our lives. I am not sure where we met. I guess it could have been Highland Elementary. LaVern was an exceptional athlete, He was a super star making great passes on the street 12th street and 33rd Ave, Church Ground or Harris High School, I was the recipient of many touchdowns growing up, but LaVern was a special athlete even at that age. He played with no fear and I am sure he lived his life fearless. I am just thankful that he was my friend.
