Mrs. Linda Denise Mosley Brown's Obituary
On January 10, 1965, a beautiful baby girl was born to the late James Edward Mosley Sr. and Annie Lois Mosley. At an early age, Linda accepted Christ. She was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Lauderdale, MS. Linda attended Draughn College where she received her degree in Early Childhood Education.
Linda was a loving and caring person. On Friday, June 10, 2016 she was called home. She leaves to cherish her memories: her fiancé, Freddie Collins of Meridian, MS; her two daughters, Kenyata (Ben) Willis of Jacksonville, FL and Ashley (Bobby) Altman of Meridian, MS; five grandchildren- Damorian “Chuck” Thomas, Treston “Scoon” Mosley and Zaharia “Granny’s Princess” Altman, all of Meridian, MS, Gabrielle “Poo-Boo” Willis and Benjamin “Man” Willis, both of Jacksonville, FL; her brothers- Rev. James (Sherry) Mosley, Jr. of Fort Wayne, IN, Billy Mosley of Palm Coast, FL of Rev. Stevie (Pamela) Mosley of Meridian, MS, Jerry (Angelia) Mosley of Gautier, MS, Darryl (Teshonda) Mosley of Meridian, MS and Timothy (Terrance) Mosley of Atlanta, GA; her one and only sister, Deshonna Mosley of Meridian, MS; her aunt, Lois (Monty) Cole, Meridian, MS and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives & friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt James, Brown Jr.; her daughter, Lashonna Denise Mosley; her father, James Edward Mosley, Sr.; her mother, Annie Lois Mosley; her brother, Terry Shavia Mosley; her maternal grandmother, Henry A. McNeese and her paternal grandmother, Mary Louise Mosley.
