Mr. Lonnie Wyatt Cole's Obituary
As a child Lonnie was baptized into Catholic Faith at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Meridian, MS. he took comfort in praying and spending time in the word. Lonnie is proceeded in death by his sister Shedonna Polk Greer.
Lonnie, a 50 year old Native American and a very proud member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, Philadelphia, MS, leaves to cherish his memory, beloved wife, Sanquinetta Cole of Bailey, MS his father and mother, Eugene and Dorethea Cole of Meridian, MS; his sister Kinoka Cole of Meridian, MS; a son Tory J. Hinkle of Meridian, MS; four daughters: Kashayla Boyd, Bailey, MS; Jateviyah Martin(Justin) and Jasmine Thompson(James) both of Pell City, AL and Xaviayah Cole Everette(Josh) of Panama City, FL. Lonnie's fatherly love and guidance extended beyond his own natural children as he and his wife united, he chose to become the father of Kesha Campbell, Herman Harris, Gina Harris, and Caylen Walker all of Bailey, MS; His grandchildren: Ka'Myra Thomas, Ja' Nice Martin, Justin Martin, Jr., Jayli Martin, Jaya Boyd, Teo J.
Hinkle, Xalayah Everett, Jaiden Harris, A Karriyan Harris, Jaida Harris and Harmonai Harris. His nieces and nephews: Mai Dallion Leggett, Kingston S. Gowdy, Alexandria Greer, Pharroh Greer, Jordan Greer, Kymani Greer, and Mahogany Greer. Lonnie loved spending time with family and would often get everyone together for vacations, special events, or something as simple as a picnic or fishing. He also spent time on the golf course with his golfing buddies.
• Lonnie graduated from Meridian High School, Meridian, MS with the class of 1992. He followed in his dad's footsteps and joined him in the cement finishing business, Cole Concrete Construction, then went on to take over the business once his father retired. He had many lifelong friends and business acquaintances.
