Mr. Louis Everett Jennings' Obituary
Louis Everett Jennings was born in DeKalb, MS on April 24, 1922 to the late Mack Jennings and Blache Adams. At an early age he accepted Christ and became a member of New Hope United Methodist Church in DeKalb, MS. He was employed for several years with Kimbrell Roofing and Temple Ford. He was united in holy matrimony on February 13, 1940 to Johnnie Mae Bourrage. To this union, 9 children were born, in which five preceded him in death. On Saturday September 2, 2017 he left this earthly life and went to be with the Lord. Louis Everett Jennings is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 77 years: Johnnie Mae Jennings of Bailey, MS; six (6) children; Rosa LeFlore, Rev. JR. (Della) Jennings and Wilbert Jennings all of Bailey, MS, Robert Earl (Gail) Jennings, Richard (Betty) Jennings of Meridian, MS, Elaine Warren of Chicago, IL; twenty two (28) grandchildren, Tina, George, and Stanley (Brandy) LeFlore, Roger (Danetta), James (Alishanne) Barney, Angela Conley, Michael (Carlo), Jason, Everett, Grady, Tia, Shaqetta, Biyonca, Atari, Cierra Jennings, Ricky Cobb, Everett Ann Dawson, Januana Ramsey, Carlene Davis, Darlene Patterson, Preston Stancil, Lynette Rouse, Regonal Walker, Courtney and Irzarius Kennedy, LaKeesha McFarland, Natasha Gordon, Anita Palmer, Michelle Wooten and host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Louis Everett Jennings was preceded in death by his parents; five children, Bonnie Barney, Everett Jennings, David Jennings, Melissa Jennings; two brothers, James and Monroe Jennings.
