Mrs. Louise Trussell Adams' Obituary
Family and friends we gather to celebrate the life of Mrs. Louise Trussell Adams. She was a woman who was a beautiful child, a loving Mother, Sister, Niece, Aunt and Cousin. She was born February 4, 1946 in Meridian, Lauderdale County Mississippi to the union of the late J.D. Trussell and the late Mrs. Virginia Miller Trussell. Kitty as she was lovingly called from a child joined the Mt. Olive Baptist church in Bailey, Mississippi under the pastorship of Rev. Charles Nelson. She made her transition to her heavenly home on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. Kitty was educated in the Meridian Public School and was a faithful church goer. She song in the choir at Mt. Olive and was a member of the Six White Robe a girl quartet group. Kitty met and married Robert Marsh and to this union two children were born Margaret and Calvin both preceded her in death. As a young woman she moved to Detroit Michigan. She later married Curtis Adams, Sr. and to this union one son was born who also preceded her in death. While in Detroit she became a certified Nurse Assist (CNA). She worked diligently, loved people and was the image of her mother always smiling and very kind. When Kitty returned to Meridian she joined the Galilee Baptist Church under Rev. Charlie Watson and became a faithful usher until her health failed. Kitty will leave a void in the heart of all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, three children, two brothers and one sister. She will be lovingly missed by her seven grandchildren, Jeanine, Ebony, TJ, James, Terry and Jerome Marsh all of Detroit, Michigan; LaMonte Marsh of Meridian, Mississippi; two sisters, Barbara Trussell Robertson of Detroit Michigan and Annie Trussell Clark of Meridian Mississippi; two special cousins, Sandra Spencer and Mary L. Smith both of Meridian, Mississippi and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins relative and friends.
