Mrs. Louise Delk's Obituary
Louise Delk was born February 13, 1937. On September 18, 1971 married the late Mr. Alvin Delk. Beginning at an early age Louise attended the family church East Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Meridian, MS. Louise quietly made her transition to her heavenly home July 8, 2018. Louise was a great church worker on the usher board until her health failed. Louise Mission work consisted of the neighborhood on Davis Street and surrounding streets. She took care of the elderly cooking meals and delivering making sure the sick and shut in was not without. Louise leave to cherish her memories: daughter Susan Nelson Horne, Omaha Nebraska; one grandson, Caster Horne Jr (Felisha) of Omaha, Nebraska; a beloved niece, Catherine Gillespie (Ricardo) Meridian, MS; Godson, Rev. John Harris, Meridian, MS; seven grand-children and two great-great grandchildren.
