Mrs. Louise Hopson Williams' Obituary
Louise Hopson Williams was born on April 4, 1941 to the late Samuel and Freedoine Hopson in Lauderdale County, MS. She accepted Christ at an early age as her personal Savior and was a prayer warrior for most of her life. She was a part of a prayer group while living in Aurora, IL. When relocating back home to Meridian, MS she continued her calling. Mother Williams to many had a prayer warrior circle for over eight years, leading many to Christ and believing with others at Fairview Baptist Church, Anderson Temple and Paradise Church all in Meridian, MS. Sometimes" on this journey she was the only one there but that didn't detour her, she prayed by herself until other members arrived. She was united in Holy matrimony to the late WM Williams for over fifty years. Louise Williams was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Samuel Hopson Jr. and one sister, Laura Mae Matthew. She departed thi~ earthly life on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, Mississippi. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: eight children; Clifford Williams, Pamela Williams and her friend Travis Jones, De/win (Tara) Williams, Timothy Williams, Tyrone (Vernita) Williams, Yolonda (Sidney) Dumas, Arleta (Roderic) Thomas all of Aurora, IL, Sharon Fulks of Detroit, Michigan; seventeen grandchildren andfive great-grandchildren; sixteen siblings: Betty Thomas, Arlenzy Hopson, Mattie (Walter) Johnson, Charles (Isabell) Hopson, David (Phillis) Hopson, Arthur James (Bessie) Hopson, Johnny (Annie) Hopson, Annie (Charles) Taylor, Wanda (Dennis) Ayers, Sandra (Clint) Williams, Jonathan (LaTanya) Hopson, Shirley Gibbs, Johnnie (Naomi) Jackson, Sammie (Eliza) Jackson, Clyde Jackson, and Ralph Jackson; a special aunt, Mary Elizabeth Calvert of St. Louis, MO; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, brother in laws, sister in laws, other relatives and friends that loved her and will miss her dearly.
