Mr. Lovell Mack Altman, Jr.'s Obituary
Lovell Mack Altman, Jr. was born to Lovell Altman Sr and Mablean Brown-Altman on October 13, 1959. Lovell Mack Altman Jr at that time became the third oldest child out of nine siblings: Bobby Altman Sr., Orlando Altman, Warren Altman Sr., Antonia Altman Sr., Arnold Altman, Sr., and Denise Altman-Sarina. He also has a deceased sister name Linda Altman-Wright and a step-sister name Lorraine Altman-Carpenter. Along with the abundance of siblings each one of his siblings was able to bless Lovell with an abundance of nieces, nephews, great nephews, and great nieces. Each one of them he loved dearly with all of his heart. During their childhood Lovell Mack Altman Jr. was a very meek and quiet individual who didn't bother anyone. This quality followed Lovell M. Altman Jr. throughout his school age years all the way to his adulthood. Lovell was a former employee of News Restaurant, and he worked their for numerous of years with his brothers. They shared countless years working and laughing together. He worked at other restraunts around Meridian where people became very familiar with his never ending smiles. Before Lovell got his wings, he worked for Valley Services and the National Guard, both at the same time. This shows us how skilled he was at managing his time and money. Lovell M. Altman was n(!ver married, but, one thing that we do know is that he was married to the Lord. Lovell enjoyed countless family gatherings that his family would host on numerous occasions. During these gatherings, Lovell would compliment the cooks and whoever else that was involved in preparing the events. Lovell was a very grateful and thankful man and always shared his gratitude to his nieces and nephews through countless memories, generous gestures, and just with his big heart. Lovell always felt that he should say •yes• to every request that was asked of him. He never wanted to tell anyone •No• because that was not his character. Lovell Altman Jr. was a faithful member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church for thirty-six years, where he was an active choir member and a church trustee. Lovell Altman Jr was a very faithful member who loved to serve the Lord with all of his heart. He trusted and understood the power of the Lord and believed that one day he will join up with other faithful servants of God and hear his name called out from the Lord. Lovell Altman got his wings on March 19, 2018 at his home in Highway Village at the age of fifty-eight where he spent his final days.
