Mr. Lovie Clark's Obituary
Mr. Lovie Clark was born to Verda Clark and Beatrice Love Clark on August 29, 1933. He was a graduate of New Hope Community School. At a young age, he became a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church, where he served as a deacon for many years. Lovie also served as a Veteran of the United States Army and as a member of the Unity Springs Masonic Lodge #225A.
On November 3, 1958, he married Pearlean McDonald. He was employed at the Meridian Naval Air Base for 33 years. He enjoyed farming and spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Lovie Clark departed from his earthly life on Thursday, October 12, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Grady, Lois, Percy, James and Prentiss Clark and three sisters: Ruby Neely, Naomi Holliday and Mary Lee clark.
He leaves to cherish wonderful memories: his wife, Pearlean clark; four daughters, Evelyn LaDora Bailey of Augusta, GA; Patricia (Mike) Harmon of DeKalb, MS; Gwen (Willie B.) Moore of Noxapater, MS and Dealtrus “Dee Dee” Jackson of DeKalb, MS; seven grandchildren, Shondra L. Gavin Bailey, Brandon Harmon, LaDisha & Chelsea Moore and Jada & Jamal Jackson; two sisters, Juanita Sills of Oakland, CA and Maxine West of Gary, IN and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
