Mrs. Lucinda Ann Cooper's Obituary
Ms. Lucinda Cooper was born on August 31, 1954 to the late Walter Cooper Sr. and the late Lancie N. Straight.
Lucinda was the only girl out of five children. She enjoyed spending time with family, going to church, and singing. Lucinda worked many years as a manager, but finished her last days as a cook, before retiring.
Lucinda was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Walter Cooper; mother, Mrs. Lancie N. Straight; four brothers: Mr. Robert E. Cooper, Henry L. Cooper, Walter Cooper II, and Edward C. Straight.
Lucinda leaves to cherish her memories: her beloved friend, Mr. Earnest Rush; one son, James (Miranda) Cooper; two daughters: Amanda Moore and Sheree (Javon) Burriss; eight grandchildren: Lakiya Cooper, Tanicka Griffien, Jamesha Cooper, Rodrian Portis, Olivia Portis, Demario Dover, James Burris’s, Erica Overstreet; and a host of great grands, nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
