Mr. Lucious E. Mason's Obituary
On Sunday, January 23, 2022 in Quitman, MS, God called Lucious to his new home. Lucious was born March 24, 1928 to Freddie and Lula Bell Bartee Mason. He is preceded in death by his parents, two children; Rose Marie Mason and Beverly Jasper, one brother; Freddie Mason, Jr, two sisters; Louise Spears and Lucille Millsaps. He was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Quitman, MS. At an early age Lucious worked for the Milwaukee Railroad in Milwaukee, WI Later he moved back to Mississippi where he became a Pulpwood Timberman. Later he became self employed as a Lawn Care Service specialist as he had a green thumb for gardening. He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters,· Shirley Mason Arberry (Milwaukee, WI), Leashar Jasper Williams (Jacksonville, FL), Denise Jasper Barnett (Shubuta, MS), three sons; Greg Mason (Las Vegas, NV), David Mason (Meridian, MS), Lucious Mason, Jr. (Milwaukee, WI), one sister; Louella Conner (Meridian, MS), a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, a special devoted friend, Ethel Lee Wallace and family, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
