Mr. Mack Davis, Sr.'s Obituary
Mack Davis, Sr. was born June 1, 1915 in the Nellieburg Community. He was the fourth son of Eugene and Hattie Joseph Davis. He united with West Mt. Moriah Baptist Church at an early age. He was united in holy matrimony to Leola Wilson on May 19, 1939. To this union three children were born, one son, Mack Davis, Jr., two daughters, Sallie Davis and Dorothy Sears. Because of his service at West Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, he was chosen to become a member of the deacon board. He was a dedicated member of the West Mt. Moriah Wilson Cemetery Committee, he was also a member of St. Peter 493B Masonic Lodge. He was employed by Armour Foods-Dial Corporation. He is survived by one son, Mack Davis, Jr., two daughters, Sallie Davis and Dorothy (Joe) Sears, two grandsons, Rev. Timothy (Taymecca) Sears, and Bradley (Gwen) Sears, two great grandsons, two great granddaughters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
