Mrs. Maggie Jane Hearn Grace's Obituary
Maggie Jane Hearn Grace was born Friday, July 20, 1945, to Lonnie Hearn and Gussie Ree Clark Hearn in DeKalb, Kemper County, MS. She confessed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She received her education from Whisenton High School in DeKalb, MS. She married Richard Lee Grace, the son of Richard Grace and Walterine McCoy Grace, who was a native of Daleville, Lauderdale County, MS. Their union was blessed with four children, three sons and one daughter. She enjoyed singing gospel and blues, dancing, and playing her guitar, and worked at St. Joseph Hospital, Meridian. Mrs. Grace, age 69, exited her earthly life on Thursday morning, March 5, 2015, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, Lauderdale County, MS. Her granddaughter, Tashea Cierra Sims; father, Lonnie Hearn; mother, Gussie Ree Clark Heam; two sisters, Doris Heam Bourrage and Ethel Lee Hearn Hudson; two brothers, Willie Earl Hearn and Essie Hearn; paternal grandparents, Willie and Hattie Heam; maternal grandparents, Butler and Julie Clark; and special friend, Marshall Dale Welch, preceded her in death. Survivors are: four children, Shernell Grace (Reginald Moore), Jimmy Lee Grace (Kim), and Johnny Ray Grace (Shunda), all of DeKalb, MS; and John Richmond Grace (Sharon) of Meridian, MS; fifteen grandchildren, Everette Ray, Shanicwa Grace (Dennis Cole), Lavance Sims, LaDarrin Sims, Lakima Sims, LaToya Bennett, Brittany Grace, Justin Grace, Jimmy Grace, Leejimyiah Grace, Jamar Grace, Kasmin Grace, Rocharm Grace, Jamari Scott, and Tykedra Rush; ten great grandchildren, Chatoya Coleman, Everette Ray, Jr., Quadarion Ray, Lakeakus Sims, Camaria Ray, Tyniah Sims, Ke'mya Cole, Keiyonna Cole, Kei'Draylon Cole, and Lildetric Grace; three siblings -two sisters, Mae Bell Heam Grace and Callie Ruth Hearn Grace (Willie), both of Daleville, MS; and John Wesley "J.W." Hearn of Meridian, MS; an aunt, Annie Ruth Clark Grace of DeKalb, MS; two special nieces, Tonya Heam Chamberlin (James) and Tessica Rush Bourrage (Sherrill, both of DeKalb, MS; special family friend, Ethelwyn Vonzetta Lloyd of DeKalb, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
