Mr. Marcus Trumaine Edwards was born on February 17, 1985, to Hervey Lee Dancy and Belinda Faye Edwards in Meridian, Mississippi.
Marcus received his education from Meridian Public School District.
Marcus loved spending time with his family and friends. He would always take time to play with his nieces and nephews.
Marcus Edwards passed peacefully from this life the morning of October 9, 2023 after a gradual decline in health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family and caregivers during the last days of his life.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Thereshia Lashell Edwards, both paternal and maternal grandparents, three Uncles and One Aunt. Those who remain to cherish his loving mem-ories; his loving and devoted parents, Hervey L. Dancy and Belinda F. Edwards of Meridian;
Siblings:, Eddie (Adrienne); Deltry (Kim); Kevin (Rashenia); Lafayetta; Brandon (Santiana) all of Meridian; Pamela of Atlanta, Ga; Markeisha of South Carolina and Roshunda of Me-ridian. Six Aunts: Bertha, Bernice (Ollie), Jaunita, Doris, Gloria, and Creasie. Two Uncles;
Timothy and Frank Jr. (Gloria) all of Meridian, Ms. He also leaves a host of special Nieces and Nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends; very special cousin( like a brother) Rodney Walk and two special friends: Sonja Butler and Melinda McNeil and numerous others who truly loved him and who he loved dearly.
