Mrs. Mary Bell Dover's Obituary
Mary Bell (Mae Bell) Dover was born on April 9, 1942 in Beatrice, Alabama to Dan and Mary (Thomas) Dailey. She was the beloved and devoted wife of 50 years to Calvin Leon Dover, Sr. She was a member of New Era Baptist Church and served on the Mission's Ministry. She loved to make food whenever the church had different programs throughout the year. She was an employee o.f Anderson Ho.spital for over thirty years. During her spare time, she loved to cater parties during the holidays. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin, Sr., her parents, Dan and Mary Dailey, and two brothers, Dan Jr., Sammie and Leroy. She leaves to cherish eight children: Leon Dover, Jr., (Camille), Suwanee, GA; Jacqueline Seals, Meridian, MS; Wynette Dover, Jacksonville, FL; Calvin Gordon (Phyllis-Deceased), Killeen, TX· Suzanne Naylor (Michael), Lauderdale, MS; Elaine Kemp, Charlotte, NC; Cassandra Davis (Michael), McDonough, Ga; and Christopher Dover (Alicia), Madison, MS. Fourteen Grandchildren: Marcus Dover (Grace), LaShaunda Dover Harris (Tasha), Xavier Eubanks; Qunette Anderson; DeMario Dover, Sr., (Sheree); Angela Eubanks; Malisha Kendricks; Sherrique Gordon, Bryan Gordon, JaQuanna Williams, Kristoff Hursey, Tiakeema Seals, Alexis Dover, and Tyler Davis. Fourteen Great-Grandchildren: Roderian Portis, Olivia Portis, Quentin Speed, DeKevin Dover, Christopher Kendricks, Jaylin Atwater, DeMario Dover, Jr., Ty-Quarius Anderson, Kaihlee Eubanks, Ty-Quan Anderson, Qamara Anderson, Jazlyn Robinson, Maddyson Gordon, and Ellis Dover. One uncle, Uncle Montgomery, Mobile, AL, and one aunt, Irene Thomas, Pensacola, FL; Four sisters: Louise Hill (Rubin). Jacksonville, FL; Anne Dailey, Columbus, OH; Diane Nettles (Edward), Beatrice, AL; and Hattie Jones, Cleveland, OH Three brothers: George Dailey, Selma, TN; Richard Dailey and Douglas Dailey, Cleveland, OH She also leaves to cherish a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
