Mrs. Mary Emma Hill's Obituary
Emma Mae Hill would like to let you know that her work here on earth is done. On Sunday, November 7, 2021, she received a call for an appointment from which she would not return. With this assignment comes a huge sign on bonus, a reunion with family and friends which she hasn't seen in a long time. Preceding her in death were her parents Katherine Jones Brooks and Frank Brooks; her daughter Dorothy Hill; her brothers: Frank Brooks, Willie Brooks, Jerry Brooks, Jimmy Brooks and James Brooks. Emma Mae was a faithful servant at Greater Fellowship Baptist Church until her health failed. She completed her education at TJ Harris High School in Meridian, MS. Emma worked in dietary for many years at Rush Hospital and Jean's Restaurant However, she doesn't have to worry about job security because her job now is 110% secured. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, dancing and singing till her heart is content. She left detailed instructions for those who will cherish her memories to celebrate her completed mission here. Emma will be sadly missed by her husband Alonzo Hill Sr. of Meridian, MS; her daughter, Cassandra Hill of Jackson, MS; her sons: Alonzo Hill III of Fort Worth, TX and Maurice (Loyvette) Hill of Jackson, MS; her sisters: Cherry Ann (John L.)
