Ms. Mary A. Irby's Obituary
Mary Alice Wright Irby was born on March 11, 1944 to the late Q.V. “Tibby“ and Alice Wright. She entered into eternity on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Bedford Care Center in Marion, MS at the age of 75. Social Hour will be held Saturday, March 14th from 10-11am at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home’s OP Chapel with services to follow at 11am. Burial will be in the Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Robert E. Hopson officiating. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Raymond Irby, her parents, a brother, David S. Wright and a nephew, David (DaDa) Wright.
She is survived by her son Rodney C. Wright, Meridian, MS, her daughters Denise (Necie) Wright Ming (Delroy) and Rita Irby Pegues (Terrill) both of Meridian, MS, her sister, Betty Wright Howells of Meridian, MS, and her brother Jimmy R. Wright (Darleen) of Moundville, AL. Grandchildren, Allison Hearn, Quintin Warren, Rodney Warren, Gequondra Warren, and Brianna Pegues all of Meridian. 10 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends…She also leaves some special friends, Varradell Brassfield, Nora Kelly, and Louvenia Ford.
