Mrs. Mattie M. Overstreet's Obituary
Mattie Mae Overstreet was born April 12, 1935 to the late William Henry Lee Sr., and Lizzie Moore Lee. Mattie Mae Overstreet gave her life to Christ at an early age and became a member of Elizabeth United Methodist Church. She united in Holy Matrimony to Raymond Overstreet. She was one of nine children. She was preceded in death by three sons, Henry Clayton, Ray Overstreet, and William Henry Overstreet. Also preceding her in death were four brothers and five sisters. All of those who knew and loved Hattie Mae Overstreet, thank God for the 83 years she had on this earth. Her memories and legacy will be cherished and carried on by her six children. Three daughters: Shirley Huggins (Larry), Dorothy Little (Henry) both of Meridian, MS and Patricia Ann Overstreet (Curtis) of Lauderdale, MS. Three sons: Willie D. Overstreet (Annie) of Lauderdale, Tony Overstreet (Rolinda) of Meridian, MS and Henry Overstreet of Rochester, NY. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
