Mrs. May Lee Ervin's Obituary
Apostle May Lee Ervin was born April 1, 1947 to the Late Frank and Ethel Tooles from Lauderdale, MS. She was baptized in the Holy Spirit at the age of 23. After being a faithful member of Independent Holiness Deliverance Church of Moultrie, GA, God called her to pioneer her own church; First Cuba Holiness and Deliverance Church which would later be named First Mt. Zion Holiness and Deliverance Church. She was ordained to Apostleship in the year of 2003. By living the life she preached, she brought countless souls to Christ. Many pioneered their own ministries across the southern United States. Apostle May Lee was United in Holy Matrimony to Jim Ervin in 1968, who stood by her side until her last breath. Together they adopted and raised two sons. She left this world on her destination to her heavenly home on April 28, 2014 at Specialty Hospital in Meridian, MS. Even though she may not be with us, her sermons, teachings and lessons will live on through the many souls she brought to Christ. She will be greatly missed. She leaves to cherish her precious memories : two sons, Lorenzo Ervin, Lauderdale, MS and Anthony Bell (Danielle), Houston, TX. Three sisters: Virgie Lee (David) Pack, Lauderdale, MS, Frankie Mae Serton, Cuba ,Al, and Mae Francis Edmunson, Aliceville, Al. One brother, L. T. (Dean) Tooles, Ypsilanti, MI. Four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
