Mr. Michael Barfield's Obituary
Michael Barfield was born September 14, 1966. He departed this life on June 13, 2019.
Michael graduated from Northeast Lauderdale High School in Meridian, MS. He was a faithful employee of Anderson’s Hospital’s dietary department until his health began to fail him. Michael was a devoted to his family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his grandfather, L.T. Barfield, his grandmother, Cebell Barfield; two uncles: Chester and Johnnie T. Barfield; and two aunts: Mary Wonnia Durr and Louise Robertson.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Shelton; one son, Damian “Petey” Barfield (Halli Tucker); one granddaughter: Delannie Barfield; one sister: Tempia (Archie) Davis; and one brother, James Shelton.
He also leaves to cherish his memory his father, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates and many friends.
