Mrs. Michelle Parker's Obituary
Michelle Parker was born on June 4, 1959 in Akron, Ohio, to the late Lannie and Mary Rollin. She was the youngest of six children born to this union. Michelle attended school in Akron, Ohio, where she graduated from South High School in June 1977. She married Levester Parker, Sr. on January 31, 1978, and moved to Mississippi. Their union was blessed with two children. Michelle attended Mt. Liberty Baptist Church in Akron as a child. Upon relocating to Mississippi, she united with Calvary Hill Baptist Church in the Langsdale Community. Michelle's relationship with God served as peace and confidence for her as she endured life's challenges and hardships. She attended the Clarke County Vocational Center and successfully completed the Certified Nurse Aid program in December 1992. Michelle worked at Quitman Knitting Mills, Hanson Scales, and Fallling Creek Nursing Home for several years and was a dedicated employee of Rush Health Systems for over thirty years. Michelle peacefully departed this earthly realm on October 13, 2022, at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Victor Charles and Meranicia Rollin. Forever cherishing the memories of Michelle's life, legacy, and love are: her loving and devoted husband of forty-four years, Levester Parker, Sr.; two children: Levester (Keysha) Parker, Jr. of Akron, Ohio, and Sunsharia ·. Parker of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; seven grandchildren: Kudarrius Tubbs, Tevarius Parker, SekyrrhParker, Devin Parker, Ellis Lee, Michelle M. Parker, and Shimeah Parker; one great-grandchild: Zaylen Parker; two brothers: Fred ((the late)Elizabeth) and Paul (Ellen) Rollin of Akron, Ohio, and sister Patricia Rollin of Detroit, Michigan; best friend Pattie Pickens, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
