Mrs. Mildred C. Johnson's Obituary
Mrs. Mildred C. Johnson was born August 27, 1932 to the union of Eugene and Sarah Ann Cole in Whynot, Mississippi.
She accepted Christ at an early age as a Seventh Day Adventist member. Later, she united with New Era Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. J.W. Anderson where she has remained a member until her health.
She leaves to cherish her memory: seven children; two sons: John (Lind) Chaney and Larry (Aliene) Chaney; five daughters: Rosie Hopson, Linda Henderson, Millie (Jerry) Wilkerson, Jessie Bell Chaney and Diana Jean Dunnigan, all of Meridian, MS; one brother, Earlie B. Cole from Chicago, IL; two sisters: Sarah June Ruffin from Chicago, IL; and Rosie Lee (JL) Willis from Vimville, MS; a great host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends.
She is preceded in death by: her husbands: Jessie Robert Chaney and Wilmore Johnson; one son, Jimmy Cole; two daughters: Linda Faye Chaney and Anita Kay Chaney; five brothers and three sisters.
