Mrs. Mildred Moore Walker's Obituary
Mildred Moore-Walker was born to the late Leroy and Susie Davis on February 19,1938 in
Meridian, MS.
Mildred gave her life to Christ at an early age when she joined El Bethel Baptist Church. Atter dedicating her life to Christ Mildred remained a faithful servant of God and earned her position as the President of the Women's Auxillary of First Enterprise Association.
Mildred was also First Lady of St.Mary and New
Beaver Meadow.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Susie Davis Meridian), first husband Howard Moore Meridian), two children Jerry and Sandra Moore (Meridian), three sisters Katherleen Hare (Meridian); Bessie Love (Meridian), Glenda
Chandler (Georgia) and a brother Sonny
Davis (Meridian).
Mildred leaves to cherish her loving memories her husband Rev. Curtis Walker(Laurel), her sons Gregory (Meridian) and David Moore(Georgia). a sister Margaret Barryhill (Louisiana), grand children Anthony Moore (Meridian), Kevin Hill(Texas), Trevelle Hill(Texas), Erica Abernathy (Florida), Jolinda Moore(Meridian), Anitra Moore (Georgia), Jerry McCoy (Meridian), Katavia Moore (Georgia) and Jalcara Moore (Georgia). Mildred also leaves behind a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mildred transitioned peacefully from life the morning of March 8 after a gradual decline in health. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during her last days.
